🔘 Odisha celebrates Utkal Divas (Odisha Day) every year on 1st April in the memory of the formation of the state as a separate province.

🔘 A ‘Modi Kitchen‘ has been set up in the Kovai (Coimbatore), Tamil Nadu. The kitchen which has a capacity to serve 500 meals per day will remain operational till 14th April 2020.

🔘 Justice Rajnesh Oswal took oath as the permanent judge of the J&K High Court under the Indian constitution on April 2, 2020. He became the first judge of the J&K court to be sworn under the Indian constitution.

🔘 The oldest Grand Slam tennis tournament, Wimbledon has been canceled for the first time since World War II due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tournament was scheduled to be held between 29 June and 12 July.
